I love photographing mini family ceremonies as a San Diego elopement photographer. And, specially if it is in Sunset Cliffs Natural Park. Such a gorgeous place to get married and say yes to each other for sharing the love and life together. I've captured wedding proposals, ceremonies and elopements at this iconic San Diego wedding spot many times. And I must admit it's been fascinating each time with the beauty of sunset and ocean view behind.
One of the most emotional parts of this day was the Unity Sand Ceremony. The officiant invites the groom and bride to pour a bit of their sands to the empty glass vessel, including all family members. Once each and every sand is mixed they can't be separated again. Such a great way to symbolize the bride and groom's life-long commitment and the joining of two lives.
We continued the elopement photography session at the same spot in Sunset Cliffs and had lot of fun and joy during the whole time with such amazing couple! This is obviously the best part of my job, knowing awesome people and having the chance to turn their most special days to unforgettable photographs!
