Wedding Proposal Photography
There is no doubt that San Diego is one of the most beautiful cities for a wedding proposal. It is a moment that you never want to forget and best way to keep it forever is having a wedding proposal photographer to capture those emotional moments for you.
If you're having questions about whether your wedding proposal should be photographed, I'd definitely say yes, you should consider hiring a proposal photographer in San Diego. I'm saying this not only as a wedding proposal photographer, but also as a married woman, who doesn't have the proposal shots. It's funny that I've been capturing the most intimate moments of couples for over twenty years and nobody has taken my proposal photographs at that time.
Looking back to memories with beautiful lifestyle proposal photos is priceless and the best way to transfer your lifetime memories to generations. Also, you can use the professional wedding proposal photography shots for your save the date cards, personal wedding website, and also sending it to family members who were not able to witness those moments.
Just like wedding photography, proposal photo sessions require experience and a detailed plan for the day in order to make things go smooth and have the best photos as a result. As a professional wedding proposal photographer in San Diego, I always provide free wedding proposal consultation to my couples and also help them throughout the day for their surprise arrangement. This is where I like to name my session as a couple photography and help the couple to get relaxed for the surprise event. Of course, she has no clue about what's expecting her at the end of the day.
Surprise Proposal Ideas
Surprise proposal photography is a popular way to document the moment when one partner proposes marriage to the other. Here are a few ideas for surprise proposal photography in San Diego:
- Beach proposal: San Diego has many beautiful beaches, such as La Jolla Shores, Sunset Cliffs or Coronado Island, that offer scenic views of the ocean. Consider proposing while watching the sunset or during a romantic walk on the beach. Having mentioned about sunsets here, don't miss these beautiful proposal photographs captured during sunset: Sunset Cliffs Proposal Photography
- Park proposal: Balboa Park is one of the largest urban parks in the U.S. with many gardens, walking paths, and cultural institutions. You can consider proposing in one of the park's gardens or near one of its iconic buildings.
- Restaurant proposal: San Diego is known for its excellent dining scene, and many restaurants offer stunning views of the city. Proposing during a romantic dinner at a restaurant with a view is also worth to consider.
- Adventure proposal: This city has many outdoor activities like hiking, kayaking, and hot air balloon rides that you can take advantage of to propose in a more adventurous way.
- Waterfront proposal: San Diego has many spots with a waterfront view like Seaport Village or Liberty Station, proposing in these locations can be very romantic with a view of the water.
Ultimately, the most important thing is to make the proposal special and meaningful to you and your partner. San Diego has many great options to choose from and make your proposal a beautiful memory. It's a great idea to hire a professional proposal photographer (wink wink : ) to capture the moment, if you want to keep the memory of this special moment.
There are several options of wedding proposal photography that I offer to my couples. While some like to have the "surprise proposal photographer" idea, some really love my favorite session that starts with couple photo shooting and then continue with the big surprise. Let's agree on one thing, that day is not easy for you and while you're having 200 beat per minute heart rate, she will have no clue about what's going on. It's lots of fun, joy and excitement involved in it.
Proposal Photography Packages
I have one hour and two hour packages for proposal photography in San Diego. In either option, I prefer to have a quick chat with you for your surprise plans and ways that I can help you out on this special day.
The one hour proposal photography package is a good one for those who are looking for a surprise wedding proposal photographer. I'll be joining you during the surprise part and wil take pictures of the whole action out there. Once all i sover, I'll capture several couple photos and we will end the session.
Two hour photography session is the most wanted one as it relieves a lot of stress prior to the surprise. I call it as the warm up session for the couple to get used to being in front of the camera. We start with capturing couple photos at a location of your choice and this will help you to calm down and help us to make sure that it is the right time to have the proposal.
Generally, we move on to the second location for the big surprise after spending the first 40-50 minutes at the first spot. This is where we wait for your sign for the proposal and accordingly we can keep her busy or even make her eyes closed or turn her back so she doesn't see the surprise arrangement that is going on behind her!
Once all is set up and you are ready we capture those special moments and continue with candid couple photographs afterwards.
If you're ready for choosing your wedding proposal photographer, you need to work with someone who only does not capture those moments, but also lives in and helps you for that special time. I'm a professional photographer with years of experience in creating fabulous images that reflects the joy, emotions, happiness and details of your proposal.
